What we do

   The Knights of Longshank have one simple aim in mind; that everyone enjoys themselves, we prefer it if the audience goes away having learned something. To this aim our show includes the following.

A history talk - showing the weaponry and armour that was used during our period.

A combat display showing of how weapons were used.

A chance to try on and examine the armour and weaponry

Members of the society are on hand throughout the day to talk to the public and answer any questions.

All this and more takes place in a roped arena encompassing our encampment, and members are on hand to supervise at all times.
